When there' smoke, there's fire, and we are finally, really, but still allegedly going to see the groundbreaking 41 MP PureView camera in a device with a modern mobile OS.

Eventual Nokia EOS pictures already leaked once, but now we have what is claimed to be the front and back of the device rearranged, as well as specs whispered in by multiple sources "with knowledge of the matter".

First off, the EOS version for AT&T is actually dubbed Elvis internally, hopefully indicating stellar stereo audio like in the 808 PureView, or simply something intransigent like the King of Rock and Roll himself.

Second, the newest specs rumors confirm a body that is thinner than the Lumia 920, albeit with a small "hump" for the lens on the back. Here's the full scoop of the expected features:

  • 41 MP camera with Xenon flash
  • Nokia Pro Camera
  • 32 GB internal
  • OLED Screen 768X1280
  • WP8 V 8.0.10322.71
  • FM radio
  • Flip to silence
  • Polycarbonate body
  • Takes a 35 MP picture and a 5 MP picture at the same time one to save one to share
  • Comes in yellow
  • No SD card
  • About 1 mm thinner than Lumia 920 with a big camera hump
  • No visible OS changes
The saying is that Nokia EOS will be available in yellow, which is not a color Nokia has shied away from with its recent handsets anyway, and it will feature the Nokia Pro exclusive camera app, which is not hard to imagine, since the stock WP8 camera interface is just not up to par with the capabilities of the 41 MP PureView sensor. The monster cameraphone is expected to be released in July, and come globally, not only for AT&T, to battle the rumored Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, and the Sony i1 aka Xperia Honami, though something tells us it won't be much of a competition if the rumored camera specs above pan out.
